Infor PLM (Optiva)

Project Management - Basic Project object used to centralize formulation activities including the following:

  • Project creation wizard and scripts
  • Use of standard fields and attributes
  • Pre-configured Status/Approval codes, Views, References, Lookups, Function Codes
  • Questionnaire to build limited additional (“Custom”) fields, Function Codes, Classification codes
  • Basic setup of one web template and knowledge transfer for modifications, additional templates

Formulation Management (Creation & Approval) – Items and formulas used to build and manage experimental and approved formulations including the following:

  • Item, creation wizard and scripts for Raw Material and Package items
  • Formula creation wizard and scripts, including New, Save-As (new formula code) and Save-As (new version)
  • Use of standard fields and attributes

Pre-configured Status/Approval codes, Views, References, Lookups, Function Codes

  • Pre-configured parameters:
  • Questionnaire to build limited additional Parameters (not needing equation support), Function Codes, Classification codes
  • Pre-configured Specification tables on Item and Formula objects to manage material or product characteristic targets and limits, applicable methods, etc.
  • Basic setup of one web template layout and knowledge transfer for modifications, additional templates
  • Basic multi-step approval workflows for Item and Formula, with addition of specific Groups/Roles, setting of final status / approval codes
  • USDA food industry content made available for import upon request

Regulatory - Ingredient Statements (including Label Content Management) and Nutritional reports including the following:

  • Creation wizard and scripts for generating Ingredient Statement from a Formula
  • Use of standard fields and attributes
  • Pre-configured Status/Approval codes, Views, References, Lookups, Function Codes
  • Pre-configured fields to support USDA Submittal (FSIS) documentation
  • Questionnaire to build limited additional attributes, Function Codes, Classification codes
  • Two typically used Ingredient Statement Rules pre-configured
  • Basic setup of one web template and knowledge transfer for modifications, additional templates
  • Basic data output (report) and knowledge transfer for Ingredient Statements and Label Content Management
  • 2 US Nutrition Fact Panels: Standard Nutrients, and one with Voluntary layout prompts
  • Configuration of USDA Submittal form (FSIS) launched from Label Content Management
